The Lakecrest is a spacious, flexible awning designed by Outwell to be a great companion on active touring holiday, moving from location to location. It is poled with a porch design and will attach to the side of vans with an attachment height of between 175 and 200 cm making it ideal for the VW style camper van market. The highly waterproof Outtex 3000 Select Flysheet has a pole sleeve and clips to secure the Aluflex System of pre-bent aluminium poles, making it quick and easy to pitch, and just as easy to set down afterward.
The front door of the Lakecrest can be rolled away or pitched out as a canopy to improve ventilation inside, or to create a larger sheltered space perfect for socialising, cooking or relaxing.
Free-Standing Design – allows for it to be disconnected, and for the van to be driven off-site for a day of exploring, safe in the knowledge, it will be standing without the aid of the camper van.
The large link Access Zone has twin side doors to allow easy access to both the van and the awning, making it ideal to fit any van with the correct height connection – regardless of the position of the habitation door.
